A comprehensive look at the faces of Vice City in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI

On May 6, 2025, Rockstar Games unexpectedly released the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI—perhaps the most anticipated video game in industry history. This trailer gave us another glimpse into GTA VI's version of Vice City and introduced us to some of the key characters we'll be meeting when the game releases on May 26, 2026.

Main Protagonists

Lucia Caminos

Protagonist

Lucia is one half of the main protagonist duo in GTA VI. Born in Liberty City, she later moved to Leonida with her parents. She's described as someone who will always fight for her family—and it's that fight that landed her in jail in the first place.

Now free, Lucia wants to provide the "good life" to her family by any means necessary—and it seems she has a plan to do it. She represents the first female protagonist in the main GTA series.

Jason Duval

Protagonist

Jason is the other half of GTA VI's protagonist duo, alongside his girlfriend Lucia Caminos. He's described as someone who "wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder."

His background reveals he grew up around "grifters and crooks," did a short tour in the army to distance himself from his troubled teenage years, and then returned to Leonida only to start working with local drug dealers.

Cal Hampton

Friend & Conspiracy Theorist

Cal is one of Jason's friends and a rampant conspiracy theorist. According to his official bio, he's happiest "hanging at home, snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open."

Boobie Ike

Business Mogul

Boobie is one of the key figures in Vice City's underworld, turning a hard life in the streets into a successful business empire. His partnership with Dre'quan Priest and the Only Raw Records label is his next big venture.

Dre'quan Priest

Music Producer

Dre'quan is an aspiring music producer and a partner on Only Raw Records with Boobie Ike. He recently signed a viral duo called Real Dimez, and he's hoping they can bring him his first big hit—and a larger footprint in the entire Vice City music scene.

Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe & Roxy)

Viral Rap Duo

Real Dimez—real names Bae-Luxe and Roxy—are high-school friends who have made a name for themselves on social media with viral rap tracks. Their video caught the attention of Dre'quan Priest, who signed them to Only Raw Records—where they plan to drop another hit single.

Raul Batista

Bank Robber

Raul is a seasoned bank robber looking for new recruits to join him on his job. He's said to be a bit reckless in his work, and that approach may soon bite him in the backside.

Brian Heder

Drug Runner

Brian is a "classic drug runner from the glory days of smuggling in the Keys." He currently sells out of a boat yard he owns with his third wife Lori, and he's allowing Jason Duval to live rent-free at one of his properties—provided Jason does a little dirty work on the side.
